The best self sticking patches by far
I have used these Park Tool patches many times. They stick instantly and feel secure on the tube. I have used tubes with these patches on for several thousand miles over several years and have never had one come off. You would find it difficult to actually pull one off a tube. Quick, easy, effective. But prep surface well.
I've tried many brands of insta patch, these are the best I've found. However, they are thin and can wrinkle especially if applied over the ridges and joins of tubes. It is important they have a flat surface, so you may need to sand down the offending ridge line first. It is also good idea to partially inflate tube, so minimising patch stretching. Best patches for a quick fix 😀
I've been using these Park Patches for years, both on Touring & Mountain bikes and they've never let me down yet. They're a bit tricky to peel off but have a strong glue that keeps them on the inner tube and usually has you back on the road within minutes. Lightweight patches, tiny box
Great little patch pack for repairing punctures out on the road/trail. It’s so small, you can't fail to find somewhere to store one. The tube MUST be clean and dry before applying the patch though. I only use these as a ‘get me home’ fix before fixing with a traditional puncher outfit or replacing the tube altogether, but that’s just me. Only ones worth carrying
Tried most of the similar products over the years but these are much better than any of them. I've even used them to hold together a 1" cut on mountain bike tyre to get me home. I always replace repaired tubes so can't comment if they hold out as long as a traditional repair kit. Get you home repair
I tried one of these with a fast puncture and I was able to continue for the rest of the day. However the following day the tyre was flat. At least you can pull the patch off unlike other types. Maybe with a slow puncture there will be a more permanent repair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
