Incredible price, love the color, our cats don't like to scratch it!
This is the third or fourth Ektorp slipcover we had over the years (we lost the others to our cats using the slipcover as a scratching post). All our previous slipcovers were direct from Ikea. The price of this slipcover was much lower than Ikea's price, so we wondered if it was truly an Ikea product. As promised, it came in Ikea packaging. Ikea packages these so tightly we find it hard to believe anyone could mimic the Ikea packaging. We like the color. Our previous slipcover was red -- our cats were enthusiastic about scratching it.The new slipcover fabric is similar to the slipcover on our Ikea chair -- our cats have virtually no interest in using either as a scratching post. Better than the original
This cover is better constructed and heavier material than the white one that came with the sofa originally. My local Ikea is on the other side of town and in Houston that is many miles.
