Walking stick with torch - Ace!
I bought this as present for my friend's 80th birthday- it is absolutely brilliant. It's so stable with its special base so no longer is there a periodic crash when the ordinary walking stick would have fallen down; any trip out in the dark means that there is light around without using up a spare hand for a separate torch; and it folds down to be compact in its own little bag. Now all the other residents want one as well. The only slight downside is that when it arrived, I left my friend to open it, and we both had to have a laugh as on the box it announced the name as The Elderly Crutch!! this is a very nice walking stick. the handle has a nice soft feel to it, and the silver line makes it look very smart, very useful that it folds, and very useful that it can stand on its own. batterries in torch were dead but as it takes aaa easy and not expensive to replace. This stick is just the thing if you need a little help getting about. The best thing is that it stands on its own so you don’t need to bend if you drop it.
