Be careful.
I bought two that look like this pic. The first one I bought was expired. The second only had 139 days left until experation. Worked in the past.
I purchased this security as it is what have used for the last several years. Worked well. I could not get this one to validate. Kept saying invalid code. I had a older sealed one that I had purchased a couple of years ago and forgot. It was the same. Invalid code. Gave up and trashed them both. I think we took has a problem. Does Not Work. Wont install.
Will not install. Webroot CS says it must be purchased from Best Buy and it expired in 2015. These Best Buy subscriptions begin on the purchase date. It also states the activation process on the back of the box: “In-store activation required. Term starts at activation. Easily the Best AV protection out there.
Excellent product. Very small footprint and uses minimal resources. This software is especially great for older computers as it doesn't consume a lot of cpu. Excellent for new computers too. Scans are incredibly fast! NEVER needs updating as it always stays updated through the cloud. The Real-time Shield protects against Zero-Day threats and Crptolocker/Cryptowall, and more. The Web Shield keeps you protected while shopping or banking online against phishing attacks, key loggers, man-in-the-middle attacks, screen-grabs, and so much more. Webroot is by far the best AV software I have ever used in my 30+ years using/building/programming computers. Be careful of buying "Best Buy" versions of the product, though. They are activated at time of purchase at Best Buy and may be expired if it's an older copy. Also Webroot support is WAY better than Geek Squad (who give support to "Best Buy" versions). Change the activtion method
I don't know why it has to be activated before leaving the store, why not have activation start when you punch in your key code? The box is in a tamper proof wrapper so you have to open that in order to get to the key code sticker. The reason behind my thinking this is if you happen to find webroot on sale, and want to pick one up for a friend. But they don't quite need it for say 2-3 months, it doesn't run out before you use it. After all it was paid for weather it be on sale or not. there product is no good.
webroot does not download to my computer because the security code does not match. this is the same problem that i had before, so now i am running my computer with no antivirus protection. m very disappointed in the product.
