A little surprised...
I bought this as an upgrade from an Alesis DM6 USB kit. Compared to the TD-11 the DM6 feels and sounds like a toy. The build quality is amazing. The module gives you a lot of options to customize the kits to your style. I am not sure if I have ever felt this good about a purchase. The mesh snare pad feels really good and has a great rebound. TD 11
Having upgraded from a TD 4 we had expectations of an even better sound from the TD 11 and we were not let down. The base is the first thing we noticed, a much fuller sound, clean, crisp. New to Electronic Drums
Bought this set and taking drum lessons. Not a stranger to drums, I used to tinker with a friends acoustic set. I think they sound awesome and I can practice with headphones, it just feels a little weird hitting plastic cymbals. Love the snare. good for the money!
I needed to look up and print out the instructions, missing a couple felts and no stopper for the high-hat. I have plenty of felts, but the stopper for the high-hat- I order one that was suppose to work, but it's too small, so I need to send it back.
