This is a great smoker/grill. It worked flawlessly altho it took a bit of fiddling to figure things out. I found that if you want a seared pork chop or steak a BBQ grill works better If you want a bit of smoke flavor without sear marks this does a great job. I was on the fence about purchasing a smoker for awhile with the prices of them. So I purchased the Davy Crockett and was happy with the size for my wife and I. So far it’s been fun grilling and the food has such a different taste from conventional bbq. It’s fairly easy to operate and cleanup is easy. Great little grill!
Perfect small pellet grill! I read some mixed reviews on the Davy Crocket and decided to try anyway. I'm glad I did!!! I have a large pellet grill at home that I purchased from another manufacturer. I wanted a smaller compact grill to travel with my camper because I'm on the road for work several months out of the year. This unit is very well built, easy to transport, easy to use and the wifi option is awesome! Compact in size yet large enough to cook for a family of 4 with ease. A friend of mine has one of these and after trying it out I had to have one. The wifi feature and app is easy way to keep an eye on things. I would recommend one of these if your wanting a easy way to smoke. It's big enough for a turkey or 2 chickens and the baby back ribs came out awesome. Why did I wait so long????
Best food ever!!!! This has totally change how we cook while camping. This Grill lives in our RV. I always wanted to smoke pork butts and ribs while i camp.
