As with any older phone battery life is an issue, even with a brand new battery and left on standby 12 hours max with this, sure I got longer with the original but I think the battery as with the phone has aged doubt they have made these in a few years. All seems to work well at moment as batteries can change after a bit of use , not sure if batteries are genuine no idea how to check but saying that the batteries i bought are doing what there supposed to do so no complaints there , battery is well built sturdy and fit for purpose . no real good or bad points really a battery is a battery , as long as it works my phone i am very happy , how long they last who knows hopefully many moons down the line , over all its a good purchase and samsung do make good products mine being the galaxy s111 mobile phone , am a happy customer .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not so good
I was happy to get a new battery into my S3 but was quite disappointed by this one. It doesn't seem to hold charge for that long even if the phone is in stand by mode. I charged the battery up to 100% then left it charging for a further 8 hours to calibrate it but the result is a poor battery. My old battery actually performs better than this one. The price is good and you can get. Y with the battery but it just doesn't hold charge enough in my opinion.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
