More autobiography than cookbook
Enjoyable read in a straight talking way. The F word is included. It is clear in the book that Kenny is very comfortable with his philosophy on life and how to run a restaurant. He has developed recipes over the years with a child's curiosity about what may work together and some of these can be found in the book. Use the book as inspiration to be brave in the kitchen and experiment (that's how I learned to cook once upon a time!) with ingredients. You may just create your own truly special recipe; remember to give it a unique name 😀. Meanwhile, enjoy Kenny's stories and dream (till you can go) of visiting his little place in NY 🗽. It is on my list.
