I use this thread exclusively for my handmade hats
I use Oasis brand Art Silk often and find it to be lovely thread in wonderful bright colors. The variegated is my favorite for my embroidered embellished wool hats. It has a nice hand and the colors glow.

Beautiful thread , IF you can get it out the little wrapper without knots and tangles.
Beautiful colours, and a wide variety of them, and good quality, BUT trying to get the thread out of the small wrapper round the threads, is a nightmare, because there’s too much wrapper and the threads are caught in the layers of the wee paper wrappers. However, knowing there’s a problem there, wouldn’t deter me from buying more of them.
