Great printer
After being a loyal HP customer decided to switch to Canon after finding numerous glitches with an HP. If you’re looking for a multi function printer with copier and scanner functions, for everyday day use can’t go wrong. Need a little patience with initial WiFi set up, with no digital screen, it’s a little trickier than an HP, but once done no issues. Can air print from smart phone - with or without the canon app. Its quiet and doesn’t sound jerky like my old HP which was 3 times the price. The scan copy is also much quicker. Well made, and it works.
Faithful to a solid HP 1215 for many years, I replaced it with an HP Deskjet 2540. Flimsy, delinquent machine that threw up 'counterffeit' warnings when I used non-HP.carts. It died after 18 months. So this Canon Pixma is a pleasant development, at a similar price. Sensible cartridge replacement point on the right at the front, not wobbling about deep in the machine. Like some other people I had some trouble setting this up, its actually easy to set up, the difficulty is finding how to, setting up for cloud printing is very easy, ( one sentence ) but had difficulty in finding the 'one sentence'.
