The felt lined wooden kilt hanger does an excellent job of holding an 8 yard heavy wool kilt. It keeps the kilt hanging high and straight. They are long enough to hold the kilt when folded. Glorified trouser hanger - works, but at a price.
This is a cheaply made wood, metal and plastic hanger. Slightly longer than the standard trouser hanger, this can accommodate a kilt and hold it securely, provided you are extremely careful how the garment is presented and how the hanger is clamped shut. The clamping is provided by a simple plastic clip holding the jaws of the hanger closed. I doubt this will last very long in use. It is adequate for travelling due to its narrow profile, but a sturdier and longer one would be better for home use. Similar but slightly shorter hangers are sold very cheaply for trouser use, so not quite sure why this is so expensive in comparison.

In my humble opinion the Hanger should be made a little Longer to get a stronger more Positive Grip on the Kilt, as kilts are very Heavy and when the Kilt is correctly folded, there is currently overhang at each end of the Hanger.
