Additional InformationTwo turkeys with a very different past band together despite their differences to go back in time to save their own kind from being on the menu list at Thanksgiving in this animated comedy. After years of constant warnings to the rest of his turkey pals, Reggie finds that he cannot get through to them and in an odd twist of fate, finds that he has been pardoned the experience of being on the table at thanksgiving. His happiness is shortlived however because another turkey named Jake bundles into his life with the plan of going back in time and saving all the turkeys. Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson head up the voice cast, with Jimmy Hayward (HORTON HEARS A WHO!) handling directing duties.
ReviewsUSA Today - FREE BIRDS is pleasant enough holiday fare. And kudos to the animators for transforming a rather unattractive ù or at least unappreciated ù species into a cast of endearing characters., Film.com - A more than worthy (and weird) holiday diversion for the whole family.
