    Nice For The Price

I've owned every Oxford mc cover in the four decades I've been riding motorbikes. And I'd have to say that this here cover is about as good as it gets for under fifty quid. It's lightweight cover is quite sturdy & fitted over my Fireblade Cafe perfectly. I usually find there's not enough bagginess to fit my side mounted reg plate under it aswell & end up having to purchase the cover in a size Large instead, which means the rest of the bike suffers because its such a baggy fit compared to the size medium - but this fits great & the entire inside has a fluffy lining to protect your paintwork(unlike the Rainex which has none!) The bottom edge of the cover is elasticated & holds it all together. Both front and rear ends of the cover have holes to fit a security chain through & there's the usual snap-clip on the underside to prevent it from flapping off in high winds...personally I prefer to use Velcro strips on the open end to hold it all in place & Velcro makes it much more difficult for thieves to remove your cover...win win! I threw it over my other bike, a streetfightered & jacked up Bandit 600 Mk1 to see how well it fitted & was pleasantly surprised to see it fitted perfectly over that too...so I've just bought another in medium for that. Both my bikes are kept outside all year round as I have no garage. But I also have a pond liner fixed to my wooden garden fence, so I can drape it over both bikes when winter hits hard.

    Not bad but not great

Only had on for one day on and brand new bike, when I took it off the bike was soaking wet, the bike wasn't hot when covered as it was delivered by van and not ride before cover went on, so can only assume its condensation because it did not rain. Maybe better not to have a cover at all and dry bike after rain. So confused, this had really good reviews from motorcycle sites.

  • Great cover at a great price

Great quality cover at a great price. I have had cheaper covers in the past which were thin and not really waterproof. This is a heavy duty, soft lined cover with lock holes and padlock pockets for front and rear wheels, number plate viewing area which can also be covered and a front panel for a solar panel if required. It has been tested with the wind and rain over the last few days and the bike is always kept dry. The size guide is also very good, I ordered a medium for a Kawasaki Z1000 and its a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend this. Buy one quality product instead of several cheap ones and save money!!

  • Stormed cover

Great cover, better than any other I've had before. Quilted inside is great and helps protect the paintwork. Glad I bought a smaller size than online sizing, I have BMW S1000r and Medium fits perfectly as I nearly bought a extra large for the extra £5, only issue is the eyelets for the lock is very small and have to feed chain thought then out hand under and feed through wheel and so on, stil better than old Oxford with small circular eyelet.

  • Oxford covr

I bought the medium size cover for my Vespa PX on the basis that the higher price must reflect the quality. I have to say I wasn’t disappointed, the quality is excellent, overall finish Is superb and even comes in a decent storage bag. If you want a good quality item, this is the cover you should buy.

  • 2 Years on - the Stormex bike cover

I bought this to protect my Honda CMX500, which is parked outside throughout the year. I believe in thoroughly testing a product before reviewing, so here's what I discovered after 2 years... The medium-sized cover fit well on the CMX500, although there is not much slack so the mirrors are under tension when I turn the bars to engage the steering lock. It's a large and bulky cover - which is reassuring, but you probably won't be carrying it with you unless you have an entire daysack you can devote to it. It takes a little technique to fit, and the belly strap requires a bit of crawling on hands and knees, but it's just a few minutes once you're used to it. The cover has done a good job in protecting the bike, even though after about a year most of the seam-sealing tape (which is external) had come away. Since then, some moisture has managed to find its way in, and I'd find some condensation on the fuel tank some mornings, but still the cover offered a good overall level of protection. I always cover the bike immediately after parking, and have never had any exhaust heat problems. The soft lining does a good job of avoiding scratching the paintwork - in fact it protected the bike surprisingly well when one of the recent storms managed to knock it over. Now, after two years, the transparent window for the solariser panel (which was never used) has yellowed and cracked, so it really needs replacing. The number-plate windows (which didn't line up so was never used) was in much better condition as it was facing towards a building and so had some shelter. It's worth noting the bike has not seen much use for the last 6 months (lockdown) so the cover has not been pulled around (other than by wind) since it was 18 months old. On the whole, I'm pleased with the return on my investment and (despite the few niggles noted above) would recommend it.

  • All weather Oxford Stormtex motor cycle cover

This the third of the type that i have purchased. It covers my motorcycle out doors for long periods in all that the weather throws at it. But i does have a shelf life.In both previous Oxford Stormtex the taping covering the seams become detached, and the new black finish deteriorates within a winter period. It certainly has kept my motorcycle dry and well protected from the elements and does not scratch the paint finish due to its soft lining, all proved by the amount of wildlife that finds it's home beneath, from snails to frogs.Care must be taken to ensure ballooning in high winds, especially for machines that do not sport a centre stand,as it can tip the machine over. Overall a good cover that protects well .

  • Quality cover at a good price

Always used these covers for any of my bikes kept outside. Tend to last at least 5 years before the british weather takes its toll on the seams and bleaches the black. The new model is better with shaping for bars and mirrors—a more snug fit. Elastic on the bottom front and back keeps it well fitted and the padlock pocket is a great idea keeping the lock off the ground and out of the wet. It also has clear pockets for a solar charger which I might get next to keep the battery healthy over winter. The interior has a soft lining which protects the paintwork from scratching. You can put the cover straight on after a ride as its made of heat resistant material.
