Excellent value and great food for all the birds.
Really good value, the birds love them just as they are, but if you soak in a bowl of water for a couple of hours, they are great for the baby bird still being feed in the nest, as they are very juicy. Very good buy and I would definitely recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

very poor quality raisins
The price was the cheapest around but these raisins are at least 2 years past their sell by date, being discolored, dehydrated and congealed into a solid mass that takes some energy to break apart. They can be revived by soaking overnight to re-hydrate them. I will never purchase from this company again. January 2020 purchase not being eaten at all.
The first batch of raisins I bought were fine although the birds preferred shop bought sultanas and these took a bit of getting used to. Eventually they were accepted. The latest batch bought January 2020 are not being eaten at all. The birds pick them up but drop them again and will not touch them. Judging by the smell I suspect the raisins have fermented slightly and this may be the cause of them not being eaten. Good value in the past, not so sure now. Make a Thrushes day
