A fully featured alarm panel for effectively £20? Yes, indeed!
This is a well featured and mature product, having been around years and made by a solid company - Honeywell. I have had one of these at home for over 5 years and it has never once false alarmed. It is imune to any form of interference or surges that might false trigger it. Considering it comes with the LCD remote keypad which normally retails for about £30 alone, to get the panel too for £50 is truly amazing. Yes there are alarm packages that offer slightly more options and perhaps a more modern programming structure, but at a considerably higher price. Having said that, this is very well featured with chime zones, flexible part-arm night patterns, external triggers for diallers and a whole lot more. Effectively £20! Replacement for G3
As I was just swapping this for an earlier model with the LED key pad it was pretty much straight forward. If you are using all 8 circuits then it can be a bit of a squeeze getting all the power and earth connections in the small terminal provided. LCD key pad is well worth the extra cost so you can see a description of what's going on rather than just led indications. Programming is by far the most complicated part of the installation and takes time. I added a speaker but found that the 1 amp fuse which also covers the 8 pir circuits was not man enough and blew so currently I have disconnected the speaker.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good product
Used this product twice now to replace old security panels. As long as you have a good idea of how alarm systems work, it is easy to install and setup. The instructions for wiring up the Bell box could be a bit better, as most new boxes now have seperate strobe light connections. Great reliable alarm system
