Shishi Odoshi Kill Bill 1. 'Nuff said!
I have been looking for one of these for years, ever since I saw the film. I always have a japanese themed garden wherever I live & finally, I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this. It's simple, it's easy to set up &, with the addition of a stone that the bamboo funnel hits when it empties, you have the same thing. Shishi Odoshi Bamboo Water Fountain
I have dropped one star only because it is fiddly to put together and needed additional fixing to make secure and rigid enough to function correctly. I have read reports that the sound does not replicate a Shishi Odoshi water fountain and is therefore no good or they are disappointed. This is because there is a need to strategically place stones/rocks so that the swivel pole would strike against them when in operation. I had considered building my own from scratch but looking at this fountain and even after the effort required to put together and position it correctly I am pleased that I bought this. With the stones/rock correctly placed it makes a perfect clunking sound in both the filling and emptying positions. I have adjusted my pump water flow so that the action repeats every 5 seconds. Everyone who sees it comments on how great it is. I must say I love it now that I have got it right. A very authentic look sound and effect results. Don't expect a plug and play straight out of the box you will be disappointed but spend the time and you won't. My only other comment is that the water supply hose could do with being a bit long but easy enough to fix. Pleased I bought this? Indeed now I have got it right. Set up looked simple but leg cross bars tricky. Easiest way is to look up the inside of the hollow leg when attaching cross bars so you see what your doing. Very wobbly construction but got £20 refund when complained. Ok in garden but you could build better if you have the time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor Value
This product is poorly made, fits loosely together with no stability using very weak wooden pins and does not work properly. We have tried every which way to get the unit to constantly return and it just keeps sticking. It looks quite pretty and rustic by the side of a pond when its doing nothing, but that's about it. I would readily pay up to £5.00 for this item,but not one penny more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
