Good quality USB cable
Cable is very good quality and the price is excellent. I purchased this for my dashcam as the charger that came with it broke after a year. Can't fault this product however (3m) was too short in my case (my fault for not measuring beforehand) and was out by 0.5m. If you're getting this for a dashcam, don't be lazy like me and not measure it as you'll end up having to buy a 5m instead :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lead doesn't send a signal after first couple of uses.
I used the lead to charge my controller once and as I just went to charge it again it won't work whatsoever I can only assume the cable doesn't send a signal anymore. I have also tested it with my camera to see if it would connect to my pc but no luck there the cable is just dead. I can't fault it too badly since the item is so cheap but that just means its a bit of a gamble as to whether cheap components will hold up for any reasonable amount of time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Useful for Dash Cameras
I ordered this so I could replace the cigarette lighter with a standard USB socket - I did find that this cable didn't seem to work as a USB data Cable for my TomTom to my PC - perhaps it was too long? But it did charge the TomTom. For my Dash Camera I was able to route the cable around the window, however it was only just long enough. 3 metres isn't as long as you might think. You might want to consider a 5m cable to be sure, especially if you need to route around the passenger side of the car and under the glove box.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ideal for Dashcams
I bought this to enable me to hide the wire from my dash cam and route it into the glove box for the USB port. The wire being thin really helps with no unsightly bulges under any trim. It even fits between the lid and box, when closed, without any crushing or nipping.
