NOT for CLASSICAL MUSIC CD PLAYING
I tried this compressor for several days for ONE application.....to reduce the excessive dynamic range of most CLASSICAL compact discs.....operas, symphonies, etc. I found it very difficult to use for this ONE purpose. I talked with "Mark" at FMR, the manufacturer, in Texas. He offered help, but it was a no useful help. I have subsequently returned to using my ancient, 1970s dbx 119, which has ONE knob for linear compression.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Everything went smoothly with transactions and delivery. I had to get an AC 9 volt transformer for the 240 volt British system, once I accomplished that, £15 and two days later, I plugged the unit in, and yes!, this is a wicked little piece of equipment. Was able to get great results with minimal fuss and tweaking. I'm very happy. I'm using this mainly on my drum bus output.
