Awkward and slow
It does what it is suposed to but i dont think they could have made a more awkward menu or access system, what posesses the guys or girls at samsung to set up the list of programmes this way , the remote is poor its like being back in the 80's when you had to point the remote at the device with a snipers accuracy, internet is poor and the sceduling recordings cumbersom , in short if you have a limited buget but need a recorder player buy this and find time in your busy life to wait for things to load if not plump for a panasonic i did and selling this onVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Really impressed with the quality of both picture and the interface TV guide etc I bought this thinking it was a DVD recorder as well but it is not but to store series or just films it's great with the feature to edit adverts and parts of programmes not needed at ease another great feature is to still watch tv when viewing the TV guide I have downloaded a few app but could really do. Hard to use, keeps asking you to scan for channels, just to fix my for the basic operations. Few controls on top of unit but you can't make them out as they are black the same as the case.
