A wonderful relaxing item
These masks are absolutely brilliant, they are quick & easy to use, both my husband & I have our own & use them on a regular basis. So far we have used them HOT only, we find them soothing & more times than not fall asleep & woken up by our alarm! For us it was a necessity as we were instructed to hot compress our eyes by the optician, but after the first session we enjoyed it so much that we use the Eye Mask as a relaxing break. Okay but not sure about it’s long term condition
The mask appears to be a quality product i.e. it seems well made/constructed. It loses its heat fairly quickly but is sufficient for a 5-10 min session. After a week or so of use in accordance with instructions I’ve noticed that the outer covering is starting to deteriorate. There are small marks appearing and some look like ‘burn’ marks. I will monitor this and if it gets worse it might have to be returned.

I work in a call centre constantly staring at 2 screens and suffer dry eye as a consequence. After a few shifts my eyes are so puffy and hot but this immidiately relieves them. I use it cold because it feels better but ive heard warm is best for dry eye. I was surprised the first time I used it my eyes were watering lots which is a great relief. Treatment for blepharitis!
If you have 'dry eye' or Blepharitis, you will know the pain and mess that treatment takes. I was the same weeks of washing in baby shampoo, putting in drops, and holding steaming dripping flannels on the eyes! What a mess what a fuss. Now I put my Therapy Pearl mask in my microwave for 15 or 16 seconds on full. Take it out massage the mask then lay back in my chair and listen music, radio or TV. 10 minutes later take the mask off and - treatment over. Twice a day easy as pie ! A Must for Dry Eye Syndrome
Brilliant for my dry eyes. Use for 10 mins a day followed by washing the base of my eyelashes with warm boiled water. Only disadvantage is I believe the original were designed to be heated in boiled water which would sterilize them, these you heat in the microwave and my microwave does not have a suitable setting so have to stand over it to remember to switch it off after 15 secs or it gets too hot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
