Small and Flimsy
I know you get what you pay for and I knew the size, however, this coop once put together is sooooo small and this was supposed to be Extra Large!! I know that the length is 8ft, but the width is so narrow, my 3 small bantams would struggle for space. Thank goodness this is only temporary for my birds, as I would never keep them in something so small, I will still have to extend it and make it wider, so that I can put some logs and stumps in for enritchment, while they are in there for afew weeks. I did put this together myself, which I did find easy and the instructions were easy to follow, but, the wood used is very flimsy, spintered easily and split if you screwed anything in too tight. The nestbox base is as thin as paper and a fox or dog could easily chew irs way through if it wanted to, plus it does not give you the pilot holes to screw it down, but I have changed it for a better quality wood anyway, as I would be too worried about leaving my hens in there, as are too vunerable when laying. Also, the nest box does not sit very close to the roost area, leaving a gap between the wood, so if you have a down pour it would make the inside soaking wet, so I have had to modify it again! I don't think it would cope very well with hardsh weather either! Overall I would not use this a main coop and run, it is just far too small and is not very secure for my birds.

Very pretty with cute features
Better than we expected for the price and decent size too. Clear instructions and turned out better than expected. It has cute little features as pictured (little windows, locks, stairs, feeding tray, etc.). Nicely designed and easy to fit. X
