Musical comedy genius on dvd
It's a real treat to see this comedy genius at work once more. I was fortunate enough to have seen Jake live around the time he was doing these tours. I think he was the first musical act I ever saw live as a teenager and I was blown away! His lyrics are , not just funny but beautifuly poetic . You might find one or two sentiments slightly un-PC by today's thinking but time and attitudes move on. All in all Jake's insights are endearing, fascinating and captivating. If you like blunt Northern humour (which I do) you will enjoy this very much. Nice to see guest Ralph McTell featured- another lyrical genius I've had the pleasure of seeing live.
