Simply scoop your cat's litter into the top, pull the handle and the litter drops into the awaiting bag, where it is sealed once the handle is returned. Some good some bad some ugly
The good? It's very simple to use. Much less fussing than the Litter Locker 1 The bad? It really doesn't store anywhere near as much as the first version. You have to empty this much more frequently. Also depending on what "load" you're trying to put in it, sometimes it just won't drop below the pull out drawer into the main storage. The ugly? It's stupidly designed so that it tips over at the drop of a hat. You have to be super cautious using it. One accidental nudge and over it goes. Overall. If I could still find a place to buy a Litter Locker 1 I would over this; even with it's much more fiddly/awkward winding mechanism because it is stable and doesn't need emptied as much.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant buy for a 'no cat pooh smell' home.
As slaves to 3 house cats, the litterlocker is the ideal way to dispose of the non flushable litter 'lumps'. Just do your 'lucky dip' in the box with the provided scoop, pop in the top of the litterlocker, pull the drawer, and it's locked away until it's time to empty! No smell whatsoever, especially if combined with the amazing (and very hard to get hold of) 'Everclean' cat litter. The refills are a bit pricey, some nappy refills fit but we haven't tried them as yet. Saves trips to the bins
As an owner of an indoor kitten in a flat this has proven really useful. As opposed to daily trips to the bins I now only have to empty this twice a week so is a lot less hassle. I’ve found that it isn’t as odourless as I was expecting hence the emptying twice week as otherwise the smell starts to get a bit strong. Very happy to have found this, we've used one for the last 8 years, but it was on it's last legs.
