Much of the UK WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
A little pricey , but in the long run works out much cheaper .
This bulb is very long-lasting , I have had bulbs like that before . Also it uses little energy
per hour ( wattage ) . It costs a bit more than ordinary ones , but in the long run
it works out much better and cheaper , because of lower consumption rate .
It is a little more fragile , partly because four "candles" if I may , are connected from the base , and not in their other "end" . I remember one that I had before , had all four "candles" attached to each other at both ends ( unfortunately I'm not sure they were the same as the ones that I bought this time around ) .
Be careful to buy something exactly like what you had before , because they are a bit confusing . Keep the old ones and the box . Do not discard them . It's the best way to not confuse them with other products . They must EXACTLY match , otherwise it won't work .
I accidentally broke the lamps in my grandaughters lightbox. Searching the web I found replacements at around £8 each. It was hard to match the fittings on many of the lights that did not specify light boxes but the photos and information on this listing made it possible to see that they would fit
This is a rather difficult sized bulb for my light-box. It is a bit smaller than the original one but does the job, as the fitting is difficult. Had difficulty finding one.
