  • Excellent rugged programmable calculator

Rugged easy to use programmable calculator. No longer available new, unfortunately, but a number of examples available on eBay. Good Casio build quality, large display, logical, relatively easy to use programming language. Documentation and manuals are freely available online, as are a number of ready to use programs, particularly for science or engineering. Uses a specific cable to connect to other Casio calculators of a similar age, which are freely, and cheaply available on eBay. Unlike some of the newer Casio programmable calculators, it doesn't have a USB interface to connect to a PC, but I was aware of this when I bought it, but for the price I paid, it was excellent value. Came with a slide-off cover, to protect the display and keyboard, when you're not using the calculator.
