Tried a NIKE....hated it, sold on the Garmin!
Love this watch even though I know I am only using part of its capabilities. Do not have the HRM, so have not used some of the features. While I have only used it for two weeks, so far I love the pace feature. This is accurate and solid (unlike the NIKE watch), the distance and lap time are great too. Easy to sync with my phone. Love the info it provides. I went with the touch screen only because I liked the color better than the 230 option at the time with the same price. Would be happy with either model I think. The touch screen is ok, but not a deal maker for me. Easy to charge in the magnetic linked charger. The directions are not extremely clear in the user manual on things and have not contacted their support yet, so do not have a rating on it. Great Watch!
This continues the solid GPS watches from Garmin. This is a great starter or even an upgrade. Some of the added features (cadence) without any extra equipment needed is great. The satellite acquisition is really fast. The accuracy is spot on. And ease of use is about as good as it gets. There are lots of features that can be enabled or disabled and you don't need a multi-volume manual to get through it. Great battery life as well. And updates online automatically via Wifi. Great upgrade to the 610

Perfect for my first half!
Watch is easy to use, and syncs with my iPhone without issue. It is a little bulky on my small wrist, but it sure beats running with my phone. Without the heart rate monitor I am still able to get cadence and stride length readings, although they would probably be more accurate with the sensor. I opted for the 620 because it seemed like a good in between watch, accurate and easy to use, and without all of the bells and whistles of a 'smart watch.' Awesome lightweight watch!
Watch is nearly perfect for competitive and casual running and training. Battery will tell the time for two weeks and still have the juice to run a 5k. The main advantage is definitely the fact that it weighs nearly nothing. The only downside is that it's accuracy is much poorer compared to running with my phone strapped to my arm. I previously used the Garmin 405 watch and am absolutely loving the Garmin 620. I look forward to using it for competitive runs because I can start running or walking right after I go outside with out waiting a few minutes to find the satellites.
