Affordable luxury
I've had a series of FiRES, so I obviously like what I see. this is the best of them all. The bigger screen does make a difference and for me this is the optimum size for optimum portability. The slim size has reduced the weight and increased the handleability. Front and back cameras and easy access buttons. There are enough Apps. for me though I know this is a problem for some folks I can easily access all of my 'Amazon' material, and the transfer from old to new FIRE was very easy. Image quality is excellent and the screen is of course very responsive. This one also has SIM card slot with the added benefits of better access. Good but a disappointment
Overall better functionality than my Kindle 7.5 and a great tablet for the cost. My only disappointment is that although I’ve made sure the “mute” setting is off, the volume when playing music or watching TV isn’t that great unless I use headphones, even on maximum setting and is definitely quieter than my 7.5.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
