Perfect small flash
I am using this on a Nikon D5300 and find myself reaching for this flash more often than my large, full function flash. Flash can be adjusted using camera controls and it is provides better results than on-camera flash. More pleasurable toting around my camera with the smaller flash. Highly recommended.

A WONDERFUL little Nikon speedlight perfect to use on-camera. Perfect for those shooting birds, insects, etc...
The SB-300 is a WONDERFUL little Nikon speedlight that I've found essential to use along with my Nikon D-500. The D-500 is an awesome DSL-R, but it includes no on-camera flash. Even if it did, I'd still use the SB-300 as it allows me to bounce light and I can also use it with a Nikon SB-28 cord to take it off the camera. (There's no way to use it wireless.) The SB-300 couldn't be any easier to use. In requires 3 AAA batteries, and you only need to put it on the hot shoe, lock it and turn it on/off. I have other flashes, strobes, and other lighting equipment, but this tiny light is easy to use and is perfect to add catch light, "freeze" motion, etc... I find it VERY useful when photographing birds and insects...

Perfect Nikon flash for Nikon 3300
I purchased Nikon 3300 camera to replace my older Cannon. I used a generic flash with this camera but photos were had bad color and lighting... All due to the incompatibility of the flash. Once I purchased this NIKON flash the photos were 300% better, reflecting true color and perfect illumination. This flash is a must have for your NIKON DSLR.

Limited in features but a good little flash
I like the ease of use: you attach it to the camera and turn it on an it works. What I don't like about it is the head don't swivel.

Great small flash
Shoot mostly natural light photography but sometimes you just need a flash. Couldn't see spending a lot of money on a big flash I wouldn't use often. This flash works great when I need one. It fits easily in my pocket so I always have it when I need one.Would highly recomend.

Just what I needed for 18-400 zoom lense
