Excellent product.
My first Fire HDX 7 gave up the ghost after years of daily use. I used it for all on-line activities and as a kindle. It travelled on many overseas trips and was my lifeline. Needing a replacement I did my research and bought the new Fire 7. What a huge disappointment. It is a hugely inferior model. The home screen layout is just a clutter! You can combine all the icons but the old carousel on the HDX is much better. The screen is impossible to see in bright sunlight so useless for reading, surfing or checking e-mail on a sunlounger. It cannot even be seen clearly in a bright conservatory despite having auto-brightness turned on. Last week I put the grand prix on on both tablets out of curiosity and the picture quality was infinitely better on the HDX. I just don't understand how the company can get this so wrong. Surely a 3 year newer model should be better. I was over the moon to be able to get a second hand one in pristine condition.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Ordered on eBay,wanted the kindle 16 GB hdx and thought it was a good price. Love the clarity of hdx much better than old one which was hd. Delivered as promised,seller responded to my question quickly and politely. Only thing I don't like is it only has 1 camera,I thought it had 2, but my fault for not checking it out properly.
