Easy set up - easy operation

Cheap version of chromecast- not easy to setup but can work
I found it hard to understand the instructions. Luckily I’m a bit tech savvy so pretty much worked it out myself. Scanning the tiny barcodes to connect did not work. Using my iPhone to mirror it to the tv required connecting to the wireless adapter via wifi, which also required me to use mobile data which is not ideal. Trying to cast streaming videos from Stan didn’t work, as screen just goes black. Can just cast Youtube. Very average product. I should’ve known better and bought an original chromecast dongle for more money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't waste time Get a Chromecast
Took 2 days trying to set this thing up to no avail bit poor for a Computer Scientist like myself. Waste of money and time. This device is so old you can't even do a firmware update as shown on Youtube using the same unit. Don't know what Anycast M100 is like not willing to try. After wasting so much time with this device I went out & bought a Chromecast Device working in no more than 10 minutes & very happy. Not real thing, very poor function
Almost useless, didn't realise it wouldn't connect to Google home. Can't get it to work with my android phone at all. Works poorly with iPhone, it can mirror iPhone screen, doesn't connect for casting with apps, if it does no sound.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The easiest way to get youtube/spotify/netflix onto your TV. I used to use my PS3 for the purpose, going through my receiver. This was turning on the PS3, turning on the reciever, switching the reciever to HDMI, and browsing the PS3 until I found netflix/spotify. And frequently the PS3 would lose the WiFi signal. The Chromecast gets power from a USB port on the TV. So I turn it on, and might have to switch to HDMI4, then use the appropriate app to cast to the chromecast. Pretty simple. I have once had to reboot the chromecast when I couldn't cast, and I haven't been able to cast iView.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
