I have been using Andrews cams in all my Harley Davidson motorcycles. This EV 27 seems to make my bike ride like it should of out of the factory. ( LIKE A BULLET). I do have a better ignition system and carburetor then stock, but this cam was the cherry on the cake. The ports and valves in my heads are stock, which is why I didn't go bigger. Don't forget to get a set of Andrews "Quick Change" push rods too. They will work with your stock tubes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Andrews EV27 cam
I have been using Andrews Cams and Gears in my engine and transmission builds since the 70's. Always great products. This particular grind puts the power at the low and mid range. What I like to call street-able horsepower and torque. The engine I built with this particular camshaft is 97 cubic inch EVO Big Twin and it is making 106 horse, and 130 ft/lbs torque to the rear wheel. street cam, power where you need it
if you want low end tork this cam is for you, if you ride with gear and a second rider this cam does well in that area, i think this cam is most useable for the street, power where you need it, when you need it, any bigger cam you have power way up on the rpm range that you are not going to use for the street.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
