This is a set of Nylgut(R) strings by Aquila for soprano ukuleles. This ia a regular set with a high G string. Aquila's Nylgut(R) strings are my most requested ukulele strings by name and are the stock string of choice on many premium grade ukes. They were developed as a synthetic string that would have many of the acoustic properties of gut without the disadvantages of high cost, short lifetime, high instability under moisture changes. Nylgut(R) has great tone and remarkable stability with great attack to give excellent performance.

Aquila standard nylgut soprano strings

Great sound
I have tried these strings on two ukes. The first cost £35 changing to these from the supplied strings was like buying a much more expensive uke. I lost that uke, but, as I was well into uke playing by then, I spent a bit more (£65) on the replacement - same effect.
