Product Information

This hands-free speaker phone can be mounted on various surfaces. Thanks to its rather universal nature, it is also able to be used in conjunction with the majority of smartphones in the current marketplace. It has a stylish matte black finish.

    Great product.

Works really well. The inbuilt voice recognition is limited in functionality and doesn't understand the Australian accent well, so I only use "google voice" for commands and it works perfectly. A long press of the answer button Wakes up google and almost anything can be done hands free from there, including responding and sending text (you will have to set up "ok google" on your phone first). Hands free conversations are very clear at both ends, however if the volume is up excessively loud on the unit the other person may hear a slight echo of their own voice. Simply turning the volume down fixes this and it's stil more than loud enough to hear. Overall I couldn't be happier with the product.

    Can not recommend.

Not happy at all with the product. The voice commands do not work and the audio quality for the person on the other end of the call is bad to the point of being unuseable for the designed purpose. I only use it now as an external speaker for my phone. It is a pity it is such a poor product because it has excellent features and appears to be well designed. Simple to use if you can get the controls/features to work.

  • OK but not great

Works better if you don't talk loud. Sometimes it's really hard to hear and then suddenly it kicks in. Country roads I end up pulling over anyway as it's not loud enough to go over the road noise. On the whole it's OK for freeway talking. It's much clearer if I turn off my radio, not just turn it down. Must be some kind of interference. Easy to answer when driving. Just say "answer" when the phone rings, or push the blue button on the front of the unit. Easy to re-call while driving. Just double press the same blue button. Although I've not yet figured out who it's going to call. I think it's probably the person I called on the bluetooth unit, not the last person I called from the mobile. There's an app for the phone but I've not yet installed it. Perhaps we're just spoilt with the in-built model in the Toyota Aurion. Beyond what it was designed for I'd hoped this would work as a booster for our VOIP phones like a speaker phone, but it didn't live up to it. Perhaps another product out there for the hard of hearing to boost a voip phone?

  • Recommend Jabra Freeway if you are someone who talks a lot on phone when driving. Your phone can be in a bag and the Jabra Frreeway works.

Very easy to use but phone voice commands,eg answer, sometimes need second attempt. Reaching answer button is quick. FM usage is good, as is using it as wireless speaker for music when out of car, It significantly increases safe driving practices when someone phones.

  • Absolutely Useless

Although easy to pair to phone, actually using it is a nightmare. Voice commands simply don't work and you are likely to get a random response regardless of what you say. Say "Battery" and perhaps once in 20 times you may get the correct response, more likely it will redial the last number you used, or offer to pair a new device. Most frequently if you get a response it goes into a cycle of "you can say" which it repeats endlessly regardless of how you respond. There is also no way to vary the volume of the instructions which are bellowed at full volume - the volume control does work correctly for calls received through. The sound quality is excellent but the inability to use voice commands is totally unacceptable on a supposedly hands free device. I have returned to a Blue Ant device which has less "bells and whistles" but actually works. The Jabra is a complete waste of time and money.

  • Good but

It's a nice unit, easy to connect up and has good sound quality and battery life. But It's not Handsfree for all functions so you need to remember some buttons by feel if not looking at it. It connects to your radio and plays, through the speakers which is good But In the city with lots of stations doesn't really work, so you have to use its own speaker. May be ok in the rural areas. You are supposed to remember to turn it off or it stays on for 90 minutes.

  • Not good enough

Jabra freeway looks solid and it's easy to use. Speakers are loud enough BUT call quality is really bad. People on the other side are complaining about not hearing me properly and that I'm constantly breaking up. FM Transmitter is terrible (constant crackling) when streaming music. Worst of all is voice control. It doesn't understand simple commands like "Battery". You have to repeat the comand 100 times for it to pick it up once. Definitely would not recommend this product.

  • Jabra Freeway Bluetooth In-car Speakerphone - I love it!

Wanted to use this product before reviewing. The service was super fast and received the product within days of ordering and the Speakerphone works very well. I have no problems hearing what my caller are saying and they can hear me clearly as well. I'm very happy with this Speakerphone and would recommend this product to anyone.

  • Keep On Talking

Very easy to link to my devices. large push plates making connection and answering very convenient. Quality sound and volume. Does not interfere with my devices when I am not in my car as previous systems have. Have not had long enough to have any negative feed back at this point.

  • Good and Bad

Overall the Freeway is a far superior than the Drive, far clearer voice control, advanced functions like voice activation and so far battery life. The only downside so far is it is very easy to activate other functions by just accidently touching other tap controls and setting off other unwanted functions. Overall a far superior product .
