Hell's still frozen!
Saw the concert on Sky Arts and wanted to get the soundtrack for the car. This set also has the DVD of the concert so extra value for the price. Eagles Live at the Forum.
Good quality sound and picture. In my opinion the only criticism is that Joe Walsh has lost the plot a little. Apart from that it's good entertainment. Vince Gill is not only a good singer his guitar playing is second to none. Let's not forget Stewart, or is it Stuart, Smith, a really good guitar player and Scott Crago on drums on some songs. Don Henley is now pretty proficient on guitar now as well as being a good drummer. I miss Glenn Frey being on stage but his son is not a bad singer, guitarist, probably the most appropriate replacement. Like any, I’ve been an Eagles fan since the seventies, and although I’ve only seen them live once, dvds are reasonable compensation, and this one is no exception, it’s brilliant! Fabulous musicianship from the guys augmented by the late Gley Frey's son Deacon & Vince Gill. Faultless obviously as these are the cream of musicians including Steuart Smith, America's top session guitarist. Fantastic value for a double CD & the whole thing again on DVD.
