Body awareness
I've been using Whoop as a monitoring device for a few years now. I'm not the typical athletics and body analysis user i suspect. I have a permanent medical condition and the WHOOP allows me to view how my body has been responding to a variety of situations. I use the tracking as a guide to how I am responding to activities and daily functions . I watch my strain and recover level to.help me insure I'm maintaining a balance, as well as monitoring my bodies response to its current condition. I suffered a spinal cord injury as well as multiple spots of spine structure failure. I can watch as work the very very slow road of a recovery process. Tracking my bodies condition and the accurate balance of its operation is a crucial part of my recovery. The permanent damage done to my body made it very difficult to determine a new base line. The WHOOP made that easy and I get the added bonus of knowing where I have room to push myself. That enables me to create a routine that works for me specifically. The being able to see my accurate condition helps me see how medication, personal activities, and even emotional moments effect the body. The deeper the data I can obtain the more I know what I'm going through on the inside. I also share my data with my extremely specialized team of doctors who have and are actively trying to create medication routines that help keep me alive. It was extremely difficult to find a device that is able to provide me the data my WHOOP dose. I know that in the community of others I have connected to others that have never considered how the depth of the information can help a person who is technically terminal. The information I view can be used to help make adjustments to medications based off of data that I would in no other way be able to obtain. My WHOOP has been a critical part in my improvement of life quality. As well as a great tool in the mission to increase the quantity of time I have left. This I know is not a topic or position that many wish to speak about.
