Good Quality Print. Let down by media handling.
The quality and clarity of the print is extremely good. The colours are vibrant and tonal quality has a good range due to the (6 Cartridge) range. However this printer is let down by the range of media that it can handle on the auto feed trays. Using a good quality single sided photo paper it fails to pick the contents up from the tray. (4 X 6). Leaving me to feed it in 1 at a time through the rear manual feed slot. This method is time consuming and not at all convenient when printing a batch of photos off. But then again the manufacturers don't want you to use paper not of their brand. They also include an "update" to the firmware which will prevent the use of non-OEM ink cartridges. It happened to me when I had a brand new XP-8605. I'd fitted it with a CISS System. Worked fine until I "Upgraded" the firmware, then it dumped a shed load of ink out of cartridges, which automatically syphoned more ink into the system, exacerbating the problem until it blew the front panel in a puff of smoke. But that is down to the MANUFACTURER and NOT the supplier. Delivery was in good time and the seller despatched very quickly, no problems with the supplier at all and good value for money compared to other suppliers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great printer
I bought this printer to replace my worn out Epson which I had had for many years. I found this one relatively easy to set up. The only problem being that a power lead was not included in the box, however, I managed to use the lead from my old Epson, which seems to work ok. As yet I have only printed off a few things like emails etc, so I haven’t tried to print off photos yet but I expect it will be fine, as I have found that Epson seem to be the best printers around.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great range of features
Great range of features, including thick paper & card capability, auto double sided printing, CD/DVD printing and multiple paper trays. Set up is not difficult, but does need a bit of patience and careful following of the instructions. These are available from the instruction book on the CD, or for the initial installation just follow the step by step instructions on the very clear display screen. I have yet to find out how long the ink cartridges will last. I struggled to set it up. I did not seem to need the driver that the website took me to, and then asked for payment. Too many bits of paper.
