A Let-down
I was persuaded to buy because of the rave reviews. What a let-down. The worst feature was the camera work. There was nothing but close-ups and constant change of shot. The opening segment probably had some complicated choreography but we saw nothing of it and as for the music! A lot of screaming and shouting does not constitute a musical score. We saw nothing of the stage set which at least the theatre audience did. Miss Saigon the Movie
I saw this film when it came out, I thought it was much better than the original Musical I saw in London many years ago. Don't get me wrong, at the time it was extremely well done and the talent blew me away. The film has a very modern take on the original production.
