One of the greatest, improved further by bluray.
One of the greatest pieces of entertainment of all time. There is no weak link in the Wire, other than the half an hour it will take the new viewer to settle in to the Baltimore vernacular. Its influence is obvious in many more recent TV dramas and films. It is now even better in HD.
