Not what I expected
I might have been expecting more than this is capable of, but I was disappointed to find I could only access iPlayer, BBC Sport and You Tube. I expected more and I didn't need any of the ones I could access. I returned it in good order and packaging in original condition and I got a refund, very good service. limited range but good
Wanted to wirelessly connect a Humax 1000s freesat receiver to home hub. Couldn't get the thing to work at all. Contacted seller who responded quickly and was helpful but still couldn't get to work. Moved the receiver closer to the Modem (now approx 5 mtrs uninterrupted distance so still ok) and wow...setup was easy and we now have good wireless connection. Disappointed
Plugged the adapter into our Humax 1800HDR and began the setup. Alarm bells rang as it didn't pick up the home network, so had to input the name manually. It then refused to find the network. Our phones, iPad, Apple TV all find the network easily, so was very disappointed. Having spoken to the supplier, I had to purchase a USB extension cable to enable to be nearer the router. Don't know if it's my sample, but the speed with this device is appalling...
iPlayer, will eventually bring up the front page, but the speed is so slow nothing will play, same for YouTube. Other devices using the same router are all fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just plug and play
Great little dongle. Works perfectly with my Humax 1000. Better than the one recommended by currys, which did not work at all.
