Good product but would be better if updated to a larger size.
This ER6700 item is no longer available new, I bought it second hand at around £70:00. It works OK and is suited for Cryptic Crosswords which is what I wanted, It could be larger like the ER3700, as adjacent digits are often displayed due to closeness of the keys and large fingertips. Disappointing
Not as good, and more expensive, than the previous 2 I've had. No cover over the buttons so they're vulnerable when it's in my handbag. Also buttons not very positive...letters don't register so I have to go back and correct....just annoying. Exactly what's needed
Because this is very hard to get a new version of the price is well over its actual worth. We had to pay a significantly higher price to get it. My elderly mum (94) is severly disabled and relies on this model for her crossword puzzels and so when her old one stopped working she was really upset that she couldn't buy a new one online to replace it. I don't know the reason for the shortage or if they are not manufactured anymore, it's a bit weird. Now that she has her new one with a new battery as the one that came with it was dud, she's over the moon and looking forward to getting into her crosswords again which is her main preoccupation now. Our fault it wasn't the one we wanted.
We didn't realise from the ad that the product is a really old model. We have had a couple of these, of course later models, and have been very happy with them.
