Bought this to replace my older VAX, which still works but has developed a leaky valve which I can't figure out how to fix. Much easier to fill, use and best of all, to clean afterwards. All the bits come off in a logical order and it seems to clean even better that my old one. The only annoyance is that it doesn't come with an instruction booklet - if you haven't got a printer, you have to find it and save it somewhere on your computer. Smartwash is better

It works, we have been using it all week. I have found that it doesn’t pick up water to the degree I expected. It takes all night to dry. The rugs are clean. It does not work on lighter (in weight) rugs. It’s very heavy to move around the house, up stairs etc. it does not have handles. It would have been useful to have an instruction booklet.
