If you have the other BOSS 'Silver Screw' compact pedals such as the OD-1X, and the DS-1X, then this rounds out the trifecta. Pair this and the other pedals with the MDP inside (DA-2 Adaptive Distortion, MO-2 Multi Overtone, TE-2 Tera Echo) and you have a "sweet, suite" of effects for a well rounded core of effects to pair with any amp that has internal Reverb or Tremolo and a decent gain, tube, transistor, or hybrid such as a Vox, Peavey, Orange, Supro, Fender, or Marshall -- and especially a BOSS Katana. Throw an auto wah (AW-3) or a pedal wah (PW-3) at the front of the signal chain, and a passive volume/expression pedal before the Tera Echo if you want to keep the repeat tails and you have a pretty adaptive set to play a huge variety of genres.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

CS1X - Compressor
The CP1x unlike its predecessors CS1 2 and CS3 tend to typically lose a lot of the highs after the compression and alter the tone which has to be EQd then. The new CS1-X keeps the tone as natural. Also the digitals LEDS to show the signal are a nice touch. Not the mention the usual BOSS rugged metal body and metallic paint and metal look knob and control interface.
