Versatile piano - keyboard
I purchased the xe20 having already learnt to play a stand alone piano. However this would be a good choice for a beginner as it has full size weighted keys and two piano settings. The fun starts though when you head into the multitude of different instruments and backing music. There are so many different ways in which to alter and mix things together to get different effects. I also found I could use other virtual instruments via midi , either on their own or mixed with other onboard instruments. Because of all these choices I would recommend watching a few tutorial videos to make sure your getting the best out of it. The only thing I would find as a negative if you are a beginner is that there are a lot of distractions going on. To get the most out of this you would still need to learn how to play on the basic piano settings and learn about music in general. I believe it has teaching capabilities but I haven't tried them. Overall a well made instrument and personally I feel its good value for money considering what you can do with it.

Handsome looking multi talented Piano style keyboard.
Been waiting on the release of the XE20,the latest Korg Piano-centric keyboard. Love this item. looks great, plays great. sounds great. Not really made for transporting in my opinion. Super pleased.
