Product Information

David Hall

The 1943 is the highest mintage Walking Liberty half dollar and it is also the most common. John has collected coins for over 20 years. He knows his coins and is a pleasure to buy from. He has a great eye for coins and you will be very happy with the selection he offers. And you can’t beat the price.

  • Thrilled with my purchase!

Collectors of walkers realize how difficult it is to get a strong strike on the left hand of miss liberty. This toy is absolutely under graded and is extremely well struck not to mention that it looks like it came out of the center of a roll by it's full mint luster!

  • 1943 Walking Silver Half Dollar

A beautiful blast white silver Half Dollar minted during WW 2 does anyone believe there are many gems or even very fine 90% old silver coins left we just had one of the biggest melt periods in 2011 till 2015 so why keep Any your getting 175% return on your coins in 2011 yes the mintage of gems in any silver coin is gone except for the collectors who sold back to the bullion company’s that can get any grade they want on a Liberty Walker or any eagle so mintage is very very low in Gem silver coins even eagles if they won’t melted in 1982 when the hunt brothers tried to corner the market all the Gems are gone in 2011 melt and it won’t be long you won’t see a gem by coin like the 1943 Lady Liberty walkers ever again don’t believe no book that’s just the mintage when minted Cut by 75 % that’s how many are left some in very poor grades but that’s all there is find a blast white 1943 P or Any in Gem buy them raw it’s not enough Gem left to complete a complete mint mark set collection Beautiful Liberty walker your silver Dollar Design Forever Thank You

  • Looks can be deceiving

The price stayed low enough to make this a really good buy. The picture made the coin look lower grade. Which is probably why I took it at such a nice price. Then it arrived, and what a pleasant surprise. It's not super high quality, but it's certainly much better than I expected it to be. Pretty nice coin, thanks.
