Happy plaining
Very easy to set up out of the box. I cant comment on the leg stand as I have my own rolling station. Great quality and accuracy at a sensible price
Very quick delivery and the machine is exactly as advertised. Could pretty well use it straight out of the box. The stand required some assembly but this was quick and straightforward. Early days as yet, but very happy with the finish on some softwood I put through it - rescued some old, uneven lengths and made them usable for carpentry. The fence is far more robust than others I have seen in this price range. Can adjust to fine margins and the accuracy seems spot on. I chose Lumberjack as I am very happy with a router table I had from them, and no complaints at all with the new machine. Worth adding that the package arrives very heavy so it's useful to have some help to move it into the workspace. Saw a slightly negative review and video about the accuracy of the machine prior to receiving it. Assembling the base and removing the shipping supports took longer than expected. My first impression was very good, and this has increased with subsequent use. As far as I can measure, faces are flat and edges are square and that's what you want from the unit. The mutts nuts
Delivery was next day. Came well packaged up and was already for use. Stripped off travel supports and got stuck in. Support trestle was a bit of a faff but as I was running it on a bench it was not really needed. I used it to clean up some really rough 6x2 to build a new working bench. They came out first class. Feed speed is great as was finished surface. It’s very quick to swap from thicknessing to planing in under 1 minute. Not having had a large planer thicknesses I was a bit worried about the size and the noise. Shouldn’t of worried myself. Easy to put together. With accurate planing and thicknessing as well as angled planing. The noise well, if my wife hasn’t complained then it got to be quiet !. Only one question.
