One of the rare Morgans!
I have been trying to complete my collection of Morgan Silver Dollars for years. But on my budget it is now more difficult to buy the missing coins I need to complete this collection...This 1888-S is very rare, only 657,000 were minted...Throughout the years since these rare coins have been minted, I would venture to say that there are less than 400,000 still in existence due to melting, loss, and other problems. I now only need 18 more Morgan Silver Dollars to complete the collection...All of the remaining coins are mostly key dates, including all but 2 of the Carson City minted Morgans., Bottom line is that one should expect to pay more and more as time goes by as these Morgan Dollars will continue to become rarer, harder to find, but beautiful to behold!Verified purchase: Yes
