I've used the new battery numerous times now and it has been terrific. Flawed, but useable.
This was much cheaper than Amazon or Home Depot. Now, I think I might know why. When I tried to charge it, I couldn’t slide it all the way onto my charger. Fortunately, I had a second charger, which was the same model as the first charger. The battery slid right into position and charged as it should. I suspect that these batteries are “seconds”, in the sense that they have some slight manufacturing defect or out-of-tolerance dimension which disqualifies them from regular sale. Otherwise, why would it fir on one charger, but not on the other? It’s a great price. I would take the chance again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good battery
I bought a Ryobi 40v trmmer to replace my Ryobi 4-cycle gas trimmer, simply because I was tired of pulling the rope, adjusting the choke, and changing the spark plug. Bottom line, I love it... but you definitely need a back up battery. This one fits the bill. There are some off-brand batteries out there, but I always stick with, and recommend OEM. Working as advertised.

Great battery but don't store them for an extended time in the charger

Is very easy to recover 80 % of elements !
Open the battery, charged all 20 samsung 18650 elements, with a 12 volt battery and i can use now in my ryobi landmore and i can recharge with original charger, working time on my 40 v landmore about 20 minutes.
