Light enough and simple to use and empty
Seems to be well made. Takes more moisture out of the room than I expected, but this is my first dehumidifier so I don't have anything to compare it with. My missus goes wild water swimming daily so now I just hang up all her gloves, shoes, towels etc in the spare bedroom with this gizmo and its all dry the following day. Cost is about 5p per hour. I purchased this item recently and I'm so glad that I did. It's very effective and due to the auto stop feature it's also very efficient. Amazing
I didn’t realise so much water could come out of the air. I have it on low tan speed and the container needs emptied every day. It seems to also warm the air which is great as saves putting the heating on. It will only be used the winter months but I have had no condensation on the windows or walls of the room. Excellent well made machine.
Im not one for leaving reviews, but this machine deserves it. The amount of water it takes from the air is incredible, the fact you can see the humidity level on the display is really good. You can set the level of humidity you require and leave it to do its thing. Its a solid piece of kit well put together. Sound wise, i doubt you could sleep in the same room as it, we have it in the next room to our bedroom and we can just about hear it running, but not enough to keep us awake.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap to run and efficient
A slightly lighter version of the 12L product which makes it easier to move locations if required. However does not come with castors attached (they can be purchased separately). Unit is quiet at the slow fan fan setting and very economical to run @165W/hour. These refridgerant-based Meaco ABC units are way more efficient at removing moisture (in terms of cost/litre of water removed) than cheaper solutions such as peltiers although the Meaco performs better at temperatures > 15C. For temperatures below 10C a dessicant-based Meaco humidifier might be more appropriate but costs double to run than the Meaco ABC modelsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very Impressive
Fairly quiet, more like a background hum. Collected loads of water in the 5 hours we had it on overnight. We checked the electricity meter and it barely changes when humidifier is switched on so very economical. It’s quite small but does the job brilliantly in a 3 bed old Victorian terrace.
