Good For Light People
This loft ladder is great value for what it is, simple to install is is not heavy to use, but, I would rate it practically as being only for people <100kg - here's why. I bought this ladder to replace one from about 5 years ago that broke - the aluminium, frame had ripped in the middle (where there was a hole in the aluminium frame) when I was on it near the top. The ladder had been properly installed, with an angle of use well within the range indicated in the specification, but never seemed very rigid. As I do however now weigh about 110kg, I assumed the ladder must have been a 100kg model, so this time, I wanted a replacement ladder that would last longer, and so selected this ladder advertised as supporting up to 150kg. Imagine my surprise when this new ladder arrived, and is exactly the same as my old one. See you again in a couple of years.....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy install, great value
Held back fitting one of these for way too long. Dig out the video on Youtube for help if you are like me frightened of instructions! Not used it much but I'm pretty sure it will last a few years if my outdoor ladders are anything to go by. Wish I had bought one years ago.
This loft ladder is awesome. If you are a competant DIY person then this should not be a problem to install. For years now I have dreaded going into our loft because it meant getting the steps out to undo our loft hatch and then getting our ladders out of our shed to gain access to the loft. Now it is so easy. You just undo the loft hatch using the supplied aluminium pole with its attachment on one end and then you use the other end of the pole to attach it to a rung on the ladder so you can draw it out of the loft.
