Does not fit

After six years of using the original mount on my GO5000, the connection became loose and the screen would dip in and out of picture. It was in my mind to upgrade my device with a newer version, but also thought of trying to look for a new mount. The item itself is of a very poor design.
This article has an intrinsic design flaw, the pressure put on the micro usb connector by repeated connection and release causes it to fail. I strongly suggest that the lead is kept attached, and that the Sat Nav only is removed.
